The person in the photo is one of my church babies (visit photo gallery to view photo).  Wade (19).  This was his first time on the road.  He just got his permit two weeks ago.  Everyone was afraid to take him on the road.  His Mom loved the sign and asked me to take the picture.  I was too happy to tell her about who own the business.  Wade and I drove around our neighborhood for an hour.  I think the sign prevented us from getting (foul language).  One truck did go around us.  The signs let them know why we were doing about 20 mph in a 30 mph zone.   Thanks Drive Safe.

Hello Young Ladies of Drive Safe.  I purchased two of your signs (elderly driver and disable driver) as gifts for my parent and my friend.  They told me that the signs were a neat idea.

I just wanted to send a quick message saying that these signs are an awesome idea!  I just learned to drive a few years ago...and having a sign like this would have helped a great deal! 

I think it's awesome that you found a way to relieve some of the stress of being a new driver and learning to drive-it is really nerve-racking when you are trying to learn and people are becoming frusterated and honking horns at you.  I also think it's great you didn't forget elderly drivers and the disabled-great work!

I think that's a good idea for senior citizens and disabled peoples, but it's important for teenagers to become comfortable under the pressures of driving.  They can have one of these niffy signs their whole life.  Congrats on your business.

I just want to congratulate you on your business.  It is so good to see young people making good.  When I were in Okinawa, it was a requirement for new drivers to display a placquard on their car (I don't remember what the symbol was now), alerting other drivers that there was an inexperienced driver at the wheel.  I say you in the May 06 Black Enterprise magazine and was excited to see that I could find such a sign in the states.  I wish you the best in your endeavors.

Looks like a great product! My son was just asking for such an item to make him feel a bit better about slowing traffic down around him! Maybe you could offer a variety pack of magnetc, vinyl & static cling for those families with different types of auto bodies.  That way they can benefit from the prices reduction like the safety pack offered.  Just a thought!

What great service! I ordered my Drive Safe Sign on Tuesday morning and it was waiting for me when I got home from work on Wednesday!

My daughter Erin and I go to a local gym and work out on weekday evenings and she likes to use that time to practice driving. The only problem with that is that it's usually still rush hour and everybody is in a rush and distracted and some people are just downright irritable! We put the sign on the back of the car when I picked her up to go workout last night and I swear we noticed a difference immediately. Erin wasn't all that thrilled with it at first, but as we were leaving the gym she admitted that she felt more confident and relaxed with it on the car.

We are in Lexington District 1 and Erin attends White Knoll High School and being out in that rural area, there are a lot of teens that drive to and from school and part time jobs. My daughter will be one of them in the near future. There are countless accidents at the intersection of Highway 1 and Platt Springs Road every year and I firmly believe that it is because there are so many kids trying to get to and from White Knoll (just up the hill) and adults rushing to get to work or home.

I think it would be a great idea if you contacted someone at the school or the school district about making your signs available to the many teen drivers and parents in our area. Please let me know if I can be of help in obtaining names and contact numbers if this is something you are interested in. I would be more than glad to help!

I first saw the Ladies Of Safe Driving on a news program one evening, and I was attracted to their product, safe driving signs, because I was a handicapped wheelchair driver in need of a large sign.

These young Ladies were highly professional in explaining the purpose and function of their business and their product. I listened very carefully and took notes.

The safe driving signs were born out of a personal need for the company's CEO as a student driver. It worked for her and I wondered if it could work for me. I use a wheelchair lift in my van which requires at least 7ft.of space to enter a nd exit while using my wheelchair. I had a small sign on the passenger's door, but drivers didn't see the sign until they parked beside me, and they rarely if ever moved their vehicles to accommodate my wheelchair lift.

So I visited the Ladies Of Safe Driving's website to learn more about the signs. I liked the style of the signs and the magnetic backing for easy application onto vehicles. I phoned to order a handicapped sign for my vehicle only to learn that they didn't make signs for
handicapped drivers. But the Ladies Of Safe Driving made a special order and designed
a handicapped sign just for me and I am pleased with the results I'm getting by using it.

I just wanted to say: COOL. And thank you. I've been wanting something like this for a while. I'm 18 and still don't have my license, because I'm terrified of the road. I've driven several times, small trips in non-busy places. But my first trip into town to go to Wal-Mart ended up badly: a lady cut me off and honked and yelled at me. Since then my fears have gotten worse. I saw the article about your signs in the Guideposts Sweet 16 magazine (which I never get?? It was a random thing!
