"Smart Teens Drive Safe " is a Columbia, SC based 501 (c) (3) EIN 30-0650028 nonprofit public organization, certified by the state of South Carolina, and owned and operated by "teens for teens." Our organization is committed to saving lives, and improving road and highway safety for all motorists, especially beginning teenage drivers, and preteen drivers.

We have found that the sobering and disturbing facts of youth fatalities and injuries stir the emotions of teens, but that is not enough. They need voices from their peers whom they identify with the most.

If there were any other entity killing our youth at such an alarming rate, i.e., drugs, alcohol, etc. We'd act and act now to improve these alarming statistics We need your support to continue capturing their attention, influencing their attitude, and motivating change in their driving habits.

As beginning teen drivers, and on behalf of all motorists, we plead to you to stop texting and talking while driving. Aren't Your Loved Ones Worth It?. Set a positive example for all beginning teen drivers, and PUT THE PHONES DOWN, so we can learn the right habits in a safer and better controlled environment.
